Valley Metro Light Rail
Phoenix's efficient and affordable public transportation connecting downtown Phoenix, Sky Harbor Airport, Tempe, and Mesa.
Hours of Operation
Frequency: Trains arrive every 10 minutes from 6 AM to 7 PM; all other hours, every 20 minutes.
Weekday Hours: Trains begin the first full trip of the day at 4:40 AM at the end of the line stations. The last full trip of the day begins at 11 PM, arriving at the opposite end of the line at midnight.
Free Airport Connection: Take advantage of the free bus to Sky Harbor Airport from the 44th Street/Washington light rail station.
The Valley Metro Rail provides easy access to major Phoenix attractions, business districts, and sports venues with convenient stops throughout the metro area.

Tickets can be purchased at vending machines located at all light rail stations. The machines accept cash and credit/debit cards.
Important: Remember to validate your ticket before boarding, and keep it with you throughout your journey as fare inspectors may check tickets at any time.
